In this role, you’ll be a key player in:
- Guiding Clients to the Cloud: Conduct Migration Readiness Assessments to ensure smooth transitions to AWS.
- Optimizing Existing Solutions: Lead Well-Architected Reviews (WARs) for existing workloads, maximizing performance and efficiency.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Partner with clients through technical discovery calls to understand their challenges and current infrastructure.
- Architecting for Success: Design and cost high-impact solutions leveraging the AWS Well-Architected Framework and best practices.
- Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to client-facing content and deliver training sessions to empower clients with AWS expertise.
- Client Champion: Take the lead in solution architecture, ensuring clients receive the best possible guidance and support.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Technical Background: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar field.
- Proven AWS Expertise: Hold the AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification.
- Solid Experience: 7+ years as a Solutions Architect or Software Engineer with 2+ years specifically in AWS Solutions Architecture and Presales.
- Mastery of AWS Concepts: Proficiency in Well-Architected Reviews and Migration Readiness Assessments.
- Deep Understanding: Possess a thorough grasp of the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework.
- Communication is Key: Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to translate complex solutions into clear, actionable plans for AWS environments.
- Broad Technical Expertise: Experience with various operating systems, databases, web applications, and serverless technologies is a plus.
- Continuous Learning: A willingness to stay ahead of the curve and master new technologies quickly.
Bonus:
- AWS DevOps Professional Certification and other AWS certifications.
- TOGAF Certification demonstrates your understanding of enterprise architecture.
- Automation Expertise: Experience with automation tools, data analytics, and machine learning in the AWS Cloud.
- Migration Savvy: Familiarity with AWS migration tools like CloudEndure and Migration Evaluator.
