Internal Account Manager (ICT)

Are you a relationship-builder with a knack for driving sales growth? We’re looking for an Internal Account Manager who thrives on exceeding customer expectations and contributing to the success of our team. You need 2-3 years of experience in an internal account management role, ideally within the ICT Distribution industry with a proven track record of building and nurturing strong customer relationships, resulting in increased sales and customer loyalty
 
Type:  Permanent
Salary:    R22 000 – R25 000 CTC
Area:  Onsite in Durban
 
Key Responsibilities:
    • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their businesses, challenges, and opportunities.
    • Sales Achievement: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets within your assigned region.
    • Quote Management: Proactively follow up on quotes and opportunities to drive sales.
    • Sales Support: Collaborate with the External Sales team to identify and develop new sales opportunities.
    • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing queries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Operations Coordination: Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and invoicing.
    • Reporting: Prepare and submit weekly sales and activity reports to management.
    • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the company’s products and industry trends.
 
Requirements:
    • Matric with Mathematics is essential
    • A tertiary qualification in Sales, Business Management or IT will be an advantage
    • 2+ Years of experience in account management and sales.
    • Experience in the IT Distribution or Commercial sector is advantageous.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
    • Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
    • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
    • Professional appearance and demeanour.
    • Proficiency in English.
