Summary
A hands-on Warehouse Manager is needed to run a busy warehouse operation in Airport Industria. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping stock, people, workflow and service delivery under control. You will oversee daily warehouse activities, manage the team, maintain stock accuracy and ensure the warehouse runs safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations and workflow of the warehouse
- Oversee stock movement, stock control and stock takes
- Maintain stock accuracy and warehouse standards
- Manage, support and lead the warehouse team
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times
- Support the Branch Manager with building and warehouse maintenance
- Ensure internal stakeholders receive reliable and efficient service
- Keep warehouse administration accurate and up to date
- Identify and resolve operational issues quickly
Requirements
- Matric is essential
- 3 years’ experience in warehousing and logistics
- 1 or more years’ supervisory or management experience
- A relevant qualification in Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics or Supply Chain Management would be advantageous
- Project management experience would be beneficial
- SAP Business One experience would be advantageous
- Strong MS Office and Excel skills
- Good administrative ability
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident leadership and team management skills
- Strong planning, problem solving and organisational ability
- Results-driven, responsible and able to maintain high work standards
