UI/UX Designer
Location: Century City, Cape Town (Hybrid, 3 days in office)
Salary: R360,000 – R540,000 CTC per year
Benefits: Contribution to medical aid
 
About the role
We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer who loves designing clean, intuitive interfaces and bringing them to life through code. You’ll play a key role in shaping the experience of platforms used in robotics and automation—an industry that’s pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
This role is perfect for someone with a couple of years’ experience, a strong portfolio, and the drive to grow in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
 
What you’ll do
    • Design user-friendly and visually polished interfaces that make complex systems simple to use.
    • Turn designs into responsive, functional front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
    • Test, tweak, and refine designs based on real user feedback.
    • Conduct user research, map user journeys, and make data-driven design decisions.
    • Build wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
    • Work alongside developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver designs that meet both user needs and business goals.
 
What we’re looking for
    • 2+ years’ UI/UX experience with a portfolio of professional or personal projects.
    • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
    • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (bonus if you’ve worked with React, Angular, or Tailwind).
    • Strong communication skills—you can explain your ideas clearly and take feedback on board.
    • A problem-solver who can spot UX issues and come up with smart solutions.
    • Curious, adaptable, and motivated to grow.
A degree in a related field is preferred, but what matters most is your skills, experience, and passion for great design.
