We’re looking for someone who thrives in the details, understands the importance of quality and cost, and enjoys working closely with engineers to make ideas real.
What you’ll do
- Source and evaluate suppliers for specialised components, including:
- PCBA and electronic parts
- Cables, wires, and IT/network hardware
- Custom machined aluminium and casting
- Private wireless components
- Request, review, and compare quotations for best value
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms
- Work hand-in-hand with engineering and production teams to define requirements
- Ensure purchased products meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and ERP system updates
- Keep accurate records and contribute to cost-saving initiatives
What we’re looking for
- At least 5 years’ experience in technical procurement or buying
- Strong understanding of technical components and supplier evaluation
- Detail-focused, organised, and comfortable negotiating at all levels
- Collaborative and solutions-driven mindset
