Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO (MEA)
Salary: Market related
Area: Cape Town
Type: Onsite

About the Role
This isn’t a diary-and-inbox job. It’s a seat close to where decisions get made, supporting three senior leaders across a large global tech and digital transformation business, including the CEO for the MEA region. You’ll be the person who turns ambiguity into structure, keeps strategic priorities on track, and makes sure the right information reaches the right people at the right moment. If you’ve outgrown traditional EA work and want to operate as a genuine partner to leadership, this is built for you.

Responsibilities
    • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder diaries across three senior executives, prioritising time against what actually matters to the business
    • Coordinate meetings end to end, from agendas and materials to logistics
    • Handle executive inboxes where needed, drafting responses and flagging what’s urgent
    • Plan local and international travel, including the contingencies nobody else thinks of
    • Act as the trusted point of contact between the executive office and internal and external stakeholders
    • Track strategic initiatives and maintain RAG status reporting on key programmes
    • Prepare board, Exco and SteerCo ready reports, dashboards and executive summaries
    • Capture and chase meeting actions so accountability doesn’t slip
    • Build presentations, reports and communications that are genuinely executive ready
    • Extract and consolidate data from SAP or similar systems into clear, usable reporting
    • Use AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT to work smarter and free up time for higher value work

Requirements
    • 8 to 12+ years supporting C-suite or senior executives in a fast moving environment
    • Experience managing multiple senior stakeholders at once, not just one executive
    • Strong background in executive reporting, presentations and business documentation
    • Exposure to strategy execution tracking and governance processes
    • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system
    • Comfortable using AI productivity tools in a business context
    • Power BI experience is a bonus, not a requirement
