Scrum Master
Salary: R580 per hour
Area: Cape Town
Type: Contract – Onsite
 
Looking for a Scrum Master contract where you can make an immediate impact? This 12 month opportunity puts you at the centre of delivery in a fast paced technology environment. You will work with Agile teams to keep delivery moving, remove obstacles, improve team performance, and support the successful rollout of business critical initiatives. This role needs someone with proven D365 experience and the confidence to lead delivery in a structured, high performing environment.
 
Responsibilities
    • Lead all core Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and Scrum of Scrums
    • Coach teams on Agile and Scrum principles to improve delivery, collaboration, and accountability
    • Work closely with Product Owners, project stakeholders, and delivery teams to keep priorities clear and realistic
    • Remove blockers quickly and escalate issues when needed to protect team momentum
    • Help teams improve sprint predictability, delivery flow, estimation, and overall performance
    • Support a strong culture of quality, continuous improvement, and disciplined delivery
    • Align team delivery with wider programme timelines and project governance requirements
    • Encourage team ownership, healthy team dynamics, and effective problem solving
 
Requirements
    • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a technology delivery environment
    • Strong D365 experience is essential
    • Strong understanding of Scrum principles, events, and artefacts
    • Confident facilitator who can lead Agile ceremonies without direction
    • Strong coaching and servant leadership skills
    • Able to manage stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams
    • Experience identifying and removing delivery impediments
    • Good understanding of software development and DevOps practices
    • Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be based in Cape Town
