Technology you’ll be working with:
React 18+, TypeScript, Next.js, Vite, React Query, Zustand, Tailwind CSS, Storybook, Jest, Playwright, GitHub Actions, Sentry and Figma.
 
Responsibilities
As part of a collaborative product team, you will:
    • Design and develop modern, responsive and accessible user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
    • Build reusable, scalable components that support a consistent design system.
    • Deliver new features from planning through to production.
    • Work closely with designers to turn Figma designs into polished user experiences.
    • Integrate REST APIs and implement efficient state management.
    • Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
    • Improve application performance, reliability and accessibility.
    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
    • Investigate and resolve production issues while continuously improving the codebase.
    • Collaborate with Product, Design and Backend teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Help shape front-end architecture and technical direction.
    • Mentor and support other developers while promoting a collaborative engineering culture.
 
Requirements
You’ll be successful in this role if you have:
    • 3 to 8+ years of commercial Front-End development experience.
    • Strong experience building production applications with React.
    • Excellent JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript skills.
    • Experience with Next.js and modern development tooling.
    • Solid understanding of React Hooks, component architecture and modern development patterns.
    • Strong HTML and CSS skills, including responsive design and Tailwind CSS.
    • Experience working with React Query, Zustand, Context API or similar state management libraries.
    • Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
    • A strong focus on writing clean, maintainable and testable code.
    • Experience using Jest and React Testing Library. Playwright experience will be advantageous.
    • Good understanding of web performance, accessibility and modern front-end best practices.
    • Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an Agile team.
Nice to Have
    • Storybook and Design System experience.
    • Next.js App Router and Server Components.
    • Performance optimisation using Lighthouse or React Profiler.
    • Monitoring tools such as Sentry or Datadog.
    • GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
    • Analytics and A/B testing experience.
    • Exposure to Node.js.
