Exciting Career Opportunity for a Junior Account Executive! Are you an energetic and self-motivated individual with a passion for sales? Do you thrive in a client-facing role and have a knack for handling fast-paced environments? We have the perfect opportunity for you!
Our client in Midrand is looking for a Junior Account Executive to join their dynamic team. If you have 2-3 years of experience in internal sales and sales administration, coupled with some external sales, preferably within the Print, Stationery, or FMCG industry, then we want to hear from you!
This is your chance to grow within a vibrant team while building and maintaining strong client relationships. If you’re driven, detail-oriented, and ready to take on new challenges, this role is for you!
 
Salary: R12K – R15K (Medical Aid and pension fund)
Type: Permanent – Onsite
Area: Midrand
 
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Achieving Sales & Profit Targets: Focus on meeting set targets by processing orders, dealing with clients (even the irate ones), and coordinating with the Purchasing, Credit Control, and Warehouse teams.
  • Client Interaction: Foster and grow existing client relationships while also prospecting for new opportunities. You’ll sell additional products and handle cold calling to expand the client base.
  • Support: Assist management with order processing, tenders, and any other sales-related tasks to ensure smooth operation.
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • 2-3 years of Sales Experience: Ideally in Internal Sales, Telesales and Sales Administration, with exposure to Print, Stationery, or FMCG sectors.
  • Experience with external sales is a definite advantage
  • Bilingual: Fluent in both English and Afrikaans.
  • Matric Certificate (Minimum of 6 subjects).
  • Self-Confident and Motivated: You’re proactive, reliable, and always strive for success.
  • Driver’s License & Own Transport: Non-negotiable— you’ll be required to travel and meet clients in the industrial areas.
  • High Attention to Detail: Accuracy is key, especially when capturing orders and managing client details.
