Mid-Level Product Manager – Hybrid (Durbanville)
Salary: R45k – R60k per month
We’re looking for a hands-on Product Manager to take the lead on one of the core software tools, built for the fruit export industry. You’ll be responsible for improving the product, building new features, and making sure it continues to meet real-world needs.
You’ll be working closely with clients, the sales team, operations, and developers to shape the product from idea to launch. This role sits at the centre of strategy and delivery – perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems, making things better for users and solid knowledge of the fruit export industry. You must be proficient in English and Afrikaans.
What you’ll do:
- Set the direction for the product and plan future improvements
- Gather insights from clients and the market to guide decisions
- Prioritise features based on what matters most to users and the business
- Work with developers to make sure the product is delivered on time and to spec
- Manage the full product lifecycle
- Ensure the product stays aligned with the needs of the fruit export industry
What you’ll need:
- 4 to 6 years’ experience in product management
- Solid understanding of how software gets built and delivered
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience working with accounting software or fruit export accounting is a plus
- Comfortable leading discussions, presentations, and working with clients
- Able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in the fruit export industry is important
- Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred
