We’re looking for a commercially sharp, forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (Registered CA(SA) to join the executive team and take full ownership of the financial health and growth of the business (FMCG). This is more than a numbers role – we need a strategic partner to the CEO, a mentor to the finance team, and a key voice at the boardroom table.
You’ll guide the business through smart financial decisions, ensure robust governance, and unlock long-term value – all while fostering a culture rooted in integrity and excellence.
Salary: R3.5m ctc

What you’ll do:
- Lead, develop and inspire the entire finance function
- Provide strategic input to the CEO and Board to shape budgets, forecasts and growth plans
- Take full accountability for cash flow, working capital, and long-term financial sustainability
- Own the budgeting cycle, ensuring alignment between financial plans and business strategy
- Keep a close eye on performance — track financial metrics, identify trends, and act on insights
- Drive cost optimisation, smart asset utilisation, and operational efficiency
- Manage external assurance providers and oversee annual financial reporting
- Lead internal control systems, audit responses, risk mitigation, and compliance frameworks
- Oversee procurement, provisioning, asset management and governance
- Cultivate strong relationships with investors, lenders and key financial stakeholders
- Be a trusted advisor on strategic business matters, M&A activity, and growth initiatives
What we’re looking for:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA is a plus)
- Registered CA(SA) – NQF Level 8
Experience:
- 10+ years in Financial Management, with at least 6 years in a senior leadership role
- Must have FMCG experience
