Salary: R30 000 – R32 000 pm Depending on experience
Area: Onsite in Durban
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, managing travel arrangements, and handling correspondence.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and distribute accurate and timely sales reports and documents.
- Order Management: Oversee the entire order lifecycle, from receipt to delivery, ensuring efficient and accurate order processing.
- Customer Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and fostering strong customer relationships.
- Sales Analysis: Track sales performance metrics, analyse data, and generate reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Sales Support: Assist in preparing sales presentations and proposals, collaborate with other departments, and facilitate communication within the sales team.
- Data Management: Maintain and update customer and sales data in CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Documentation: Prepare and process sales contracts, quotations, and other relevant documentation.
- Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
- Team Support: Assist the sales manager in implementing sales initiatives and strategies and monitor team progress to identify areas for improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Matric with mathematics is essential, and a Sales or Marketing qualification is preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably within an ICT distribution business.
- Knowledge: Proven track record of sales success and a strong understanding of the IT market, reseller channels, and marketing strategies.
- Skills: Excellent customer service, strong organizational and time management skills, a positive and outgoing personality, strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and proficient computer skills.
