We are looking for a seasoned Product Specialist with a passion for driving success in the Enterprise Technology space? Salary: Up to R30 000 ctc including benefits

Responsibilities
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with specified vendors and relevant customers.
- Attain monthly sales and stock targets.
- Identify new business opportunities by engaging with vendors and customers.
- Provide weekly sales and stock forecasts to management.
- Contribute to and support the implementation of marketing strategies.
- Disseminate product and training information to sales and customers.
- Monitor and share market insights on competitive vendors.
- Demonstrate knowledge of roadmaps and product life cycles.
- Obtain and maintain relevant industry certifications.
- Represent the company and/or Vendor(s) at customer engagements and conferences.
- Deliver vendor presentations and training to sales teams and the customer landscape.
- Establish trust as a key advisor to colleagues and customers.
- Participate in tender evaluation, product/solution recommendation, and pricing.
- Accurately quote products/solutions based on vendor or customer requirements.
- Expand the share of wallet for assigned products across the customer base.
- Manage pricelists.
- Ensure timely placement of vendor orders.
- Ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are promptly met.
- Provide required reports and target tracking.
- Assist the team with other related functions as needed.
- Understand and navigate each vendor’s rebates and compensation program.
Requirements
- Experience in developing go-to-market strategies and sales plans.
- Matric with mathematics is essential; a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
- Above-average computer literacy in MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- At least 3 years of product management experience in the IT industry.
- Familiarity with forex conversions/calculations.
- Understanding of enterprise infrastructure (server, storage, networking) and software products (hypervisors, backup, application virtualization) is advantageous.
- Experience in delivering vendor presentations.
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting quotations.
- Exceptional verbal and written business communication skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Accurate with numbers and calculations.
- Strong time management and organizational skills; deadline-driven with the ability to plan and prioritize a high workload.
